CBD and THC are two cannabinoids closely related to the terpenoids of plant origin such as menthol, camphor and curcuminoids, produced from turmeric and mustard seeds. The terpenoids belong to a large class of organic molecules widely used in traditional cuisine for their aromatic qualities. In other words, they are born from the same precursor molecule, or from cannabigerolic acid or CBGA.
